Affordable Psychotherapy in South London and online
I am a psychotherapist in training offering low-cost therapy in South London and online. My training is in Core Process Psychotherapy – a mindfulness-based psychotherapy which brings insight and awareness practices into the therapy room. I place the therapeutic relationship at the centre of my work and together we enquire into your experiences and challenges. It is a highly effective way of developing openness and insight into your unique personality process.
How I work
Therapy can help you explore your experiences and life history. A trusting relationship between therapist and client is key for therapy to be effective. I offer a free 30 min, no-obligation, initial meeting, which gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and to get a sense of who I am and how I work.
I offer individual psychotherapy for adults on a regular, weekly basis and I practice in Clapham, South London SW4
I charge £40 for each session.
About me
Before moving fully into psychotherapy, I had an academic research career in Neuroscience at King’s College London. I hold a BSc in psychology, an MSc and PhD in Neuroscience from King’s College London. Alongside my research, I trained part-time at the Karuna Institute because I wanted to more fully explore the psychic, unconscious areas in my life. I felt that the scientific model of psyche was not able to account for many states of awareness that occur in everyday life.
I am committed to ongoing learning and growth as a therapist, and I am exploring research possibilities within the psychotherapeutic space. I volunteer at a psychiatric hospital in south London.
